City and charter bus operators
Bus operators issue EACs for the reductions from switching to electric buses and receive the sale proceeds
LTS DTG measures the electricity use of electric buses, and LTS handles EACs issuance and sale based on those reductions. With the same measured data, bus operators report reductions to local governments and present carbon emissions calculation and reporting in bids.
What bus operators gain
With the same measured data, bus operatorsgain three benefits at once
Reductions from switching to electric buses are issued as EACs, and the bus operator receives the sale proceeds.
Bus operators report reductions calculated from primary measured data to the local governments that paid electric-bus subsidies.
Charter bus operators present carbon emissions calculation and reporting in commuter-bus bids.
EACs issuance
With measured electricity data from electric buses,LTS connects EACs issuance through to sale
123Carbon is the only EACs registry in the world, and LTS is its official agent. Carboninsets is the only exchange for EACs and has a business cooperation agreement with LTS.
- LTS is currently the only company issuing transport EACs in Korea
- Eligible: switching passenger and freight vehicles to electric
- The issuer pays actual costs such as verification and registration fees
Issuance deadline
If a bus operator goes electric but does not issue EACs,that year's reductions are lost and cannot be recovered
EACs issuance accepts only reduction data from the most recent year, and issuance is possible only within 10 years of the vehicle's first purchase.
Safe operation
Bus operators share the risky-driving records LTS Clouddetermines during operation with drivers through the driver app
Shows the count of each of the 11 types of risky driving for every trip.
Companies and institutions we work with
