When a primary contractor requests transport data, subcontracted carriers submit it in LTS Cloud for carriers
LTS DTG replaces the digital tachograph (legally mandated trip recorder) required under the Traffic Safety Act, so carriers do not install an additional device. Trip records are stored in LTS Cloud for carriers, and each primary contractor receives data only for its own cargo.
What carriers deal with today
Each primary contractor requests data in its own format,so carriers copy receipts and trip records by hand
With several primary contractors, the same vehicle's records must be reorganized for each format.
At the end of every quarter, staff gather fuel receipts and trip records and copy them into Excel.
Submitting a vehicle's full fuel records also reveals shipments and costs for other primary contractors.
Installation
Subcontracted carriers install a single LTS DTGin place of the legally mandated trip recorder
One LTS DTG collects the legally required trip record together with fuel, electricity and risky-driving data.
