Adoption and security

Primary contractors and carriers complete adoption in six steps, and the contract states the rights to the collected data

The scope of adoption depends on fleet size and partner-carrier structure. At each step, an LTS representative reviews progress with you.

Adoption steps

Primary contractors and carriers go from consultationto operation in six steps

Talk to us

We confirm fleet size, partner-carrier structure and reporting scope.

Setup design

We define LTS Cloud for primary contractors and for carriers, and the integration scope.

LTS DTG installation

LTS DTG replaces the trip recorder and connects directly to the OBD-II port.

Account setup

We open LTS Cloud accounts for the primary contractor and its partner carriers.

LAS mapping setup

We align the primary contractor's order and dispatch formats with LAS determination.

Operation

Shipper reports and safety records are issued on a regular schedule.

Data rights and security

Trip data collected from partner carriers' vehiclesis used only within the scope set in the contract

Ownership and scope of use

The contract states the ownership and scope of use of trip data collected from partner carriers' vehicles.

Location data

Location data is personal information, so we obtain driver consent forms and keep access logs.

Separation by primary contractor

LAS maps orders and dispatches, and each primary contractor receives data only for its own cargo.

Request for proposal (RFP) materials

Primary contractor procurement teams receive RFP technicalspecifications and security materials in a consultation

We provide the collected data items, calculation standards (ISO 14083 · GLEC Framework), integration method (LCS engine API), and certification and test documents.

Frequently asked questions

These are the questions primary contractors and carriersreviewing adoption ask most often

Do we need to keep our existing trip recorder?

No. LTS DTG replaces the digital tachograph (legally mandated trip recorder) under the Traffic Safety Act and has trip recorder type approval.

If one carrier works with several primary contractors, does their data get mixed?

LAS maps orders to dispatches and sends each primary contractor data only for its own cargo. The carrier's costs are not exposed to other primary contractors.

Do we need to replace our existing monitoring or ERP system?

No. Sites that cannot switch systems connect only their data through the LCS engine API.

How is pricing set?

It depends on fleet size, partner-carrier structure and reporting scope, so we explain it in a consultation.
